I have always viewed my self as computer expert - but with a small "e". My existing Alienware dates from 2009. I have upgraded it myself over the years, but I ran out of options about 2020. In recent years I have not been able to run MSFS with any sort of fluidity, nor to use the most recent Photoshop software.
I have been waiting for the last few years for Intel to get their act together, but as they are way behind in process development and still insist on perhaps 1 1/2 generations of CPU per socket, I have given up on them. The obvious alternative is AMD, who have really had their act together in the last few years. The AM5 socket should be good until 2027, which gives me a lot of headroom.
I could not have possibly put together my PC with Jason's help.
Our experience with Gameforce was from purchasing over 100 office pcs and from being assisted with donating our old office pcs to charity. I came to gameforce through a recommendation from a Chamber of Commerce member and I spoke to the owner of Gameforce who came across as experienced so I agreed to a meeting. At the meeting there was a number of promises made and at the end of the day Gameforce honoured each of the promises and even paid for 50% of the secure data destruction cost allowing us to donate the pcs to a charity of our choosing. Given their name I was not expecting a company who would be able to supply and install our 100+ pcs whilst at the same time organise the removal as well as the security to ensure the data destruction to a professional level as they did. The main man at Gameforce comes from a corporate background and has the experience which is how this business is so strong and professional. I cannot fault any aspect of the contract and I would recommend Gameforce to any medium sized business looking to replace older pcs. Goodwork , Professional and Trustworthy
Over the course of 2 weeks we received the required information to allow us to make a decision which allowed us to save over €15,000 when replacing our 6 year old office pcs. The secure destruction of the data was handled for us as well as the collection of over 100 of our 2019 office pcs with the new pcs delivered over the week before the old pcs were collected allowing us the time to ensure a timely switch over. I was not expecting them to be able to organise this service and I admit I was surprised they were able to keep to the terms of the agreement but they did. I would have no hesitation in recomending gameforce to any medium sized business replaced 50+ pcs or more as the experience of this company and the services they offer are far beyond what would normally be expected from a local supplier. We received certificates of destruction from a third party company with photos and video showing the destruction and recycling of the hdds in our old pcs and the charity donation of our old pcs all organised by gameforce on our behalf. On top of this we saved close to €15,000 on the contract with Gameforce coming in far lower in price and offering a comparative service to larger companies who were charging 3 times the price. First class service from beginning to end and I can tell you I would recommend them to other companies who need to replace and dispose of older generation pcs. We chose not to take any return on the old pcs against our new pcs as we wanted to donate the pcs to charity and gameforce also donated their time and paid 50% of the cost to securely destroy the data which they did not have to do. They are an Irish company with International experience and the main guy there knows what he is doing and has vast experience with some of the biggest companies across the world. Truly a world class service from start to finish.

Quick Delivery and really good experience. gameforce was recommended to me by a friend from Canada who had purchased from this company before they moved to Canada last year. They recommended this business as it seems they had an issue when in Canada and gameforce was able to sent a component to help them diagnose a problem and then organised a local company in Canada to fit a graphics card. I must say I was surprised at how they were able to do that and I decided to order a gaming rig after 2 exchanges with them. They did explain to me that providing service in Canada was not always possible and by coincidence they told me that a previous staff member of gameforce was living only 40km away from my friend in Canada so the magic of their reach across the world was shattered.
My Gaming Rig arrived in about 8 days with my only concern being dpd who tried to deliver to my neighbour. Once I got my rig the setup was straight forward and everything I needed was sent in the box. Now after 3 weeks I can say the pc has performed to the level I expected if not a little further. I am very happy with the pc and with the purchase support I received before and during my purchase.
I did get a nice free upgrade with a Samsung pro m.2 being provided. I had explained to them of an issue I had with my previous pc were the m.2 had over heated so they upgrade the m.2 to a Samsung with a heatsink. They made no extra charge and never made me aware of this with the only mention of it coming in the email I got showing the components in the pc.
I think this company are a gem and I will be recommending them to all of my friends.

What performance and breath taking speed . I bought so i could work from home as i did not have the space for a workstation. I took advice and it made a better machine and saves me money.

Well built pc as expected with better than expected performance from an integrated Radeon gpu. Clearly the 16GB of DDR4 memory makes the difference with good fps on fortnite. I tried with 8GB out of curiosity and the performance was sluggish so the 16GB was the right choice and their advice was invaluable
Educational order of 62 PCs were needed during a 3 day window and the team made everything go to plan with no changes. PCs were delivered onsite and they sent a technician with the PCs to help with the setup. They also organised for our security tags to be added to the PCs during the build stage which saved up time. The contract deadline was tight but they were able to deliver within 21 days and were true to their word. PCs are setup now for almost 3 months with no issues and my emails get answered usually within 1 hour even after the order was delivered. Our next contract will be going to gameforce i would expect given the collect and return warranty and the level of support and professionalism shown before , during and after delivery.
This was my third pc from them and as usual the communication was superb and the new workstation arrived in just under 10 days which they had kept me updated about as they knew I was eager to take delivery. I knew what I needed however they made a number of small changes after I accepted their advice and for the same money I got a more powerful workstation. This is the only company I trust to build my workstations as they understand the importance of good service.
I ordered on a Monday and I received the following Friday. I was notified of the update to the new AMD RYZEN cpu which was added to my pc for no extra charge and they still completed the delivery inside 5 days. I am very happy with the level of service and when I needed another pc delivered to an address in Germany they were able to organise this with the pc delivered to our offices in Germany 4 days with DHL. This was the first occasion were we had worked with this Irish company but it will not be the last given the impeccable service and quality products they supplied in double quick time.
Taking their advice saved me €€€ and got me a better pc for the task I had in mind. Excellent communications with most messages answered within 15 minutes. I cannot fault the pc or the service I received.
Arrived in 5 days. Good specs for my entertainment server. Excellent advice with rhe help to choose the right specs. Saved me over €450 as my design was overkill in their words

Overall, I can't fault the service and products I bought. There was a bit of delay but as soon as I contacted the seller, they replied straight away and sent goods out.

As you will know we have ceased allowing the same of components and accessories on our websites given this was only to be a short term service to assist customers in 2021. Really great to have and Irish business for us to use. There is 2 cons, speed and pricing. Pricing is a little bit over the top but accepting credit facilities means excess charges and naturally going to cause a price increase but some components are €800 above RRP. Processing, dispatch and delivery speeds leave a lot to be desired especially considering it was a domestic order.
All in all the team deserve the business but I think they are two areas that definitely could improve, however it won’t stop me from shopping here again. Thanks lads
We have been providing components at almost cost price as a service to our customers since January 2021 so it would be highly unlikely to have an item listed at €800 above the RRP considering the pricing is set by the vendor and not ourselves. Thank you for your order and I am sorry we did not live up to your expectations but please understand that component sales was only ever intended as a short term service and we had allowed it to go on for more than 3 years which was creating issues for our many loyal customers who rely on us for custom pcs , laptops ,servers and workstions. This was the reason we decided to stop allowing the sale of components and accories on our websites form the 30th of September 2024. We have done our upmost to provide a level of service to component and accessory customers however it wa not possible to provide the necessary level of service as 11% of our sales created 82% of our support ticket and this service was being supported by us financally since 2021. It is not possible to supply components in Ireland quick even if we could supply at low prices as the stock must be held on the continent based on the Irish market being tiny in comparison to the German or even Italian markets. We have always tried to find a balance but due to the effects of component and accessory sales on our core business and customers regards pcs , laptops and workstation we have stopped selling components and accessories. Thank you for your custom and I hope we can assist you in the future. There is a notice below not related to your review but it will give you an idea of why we have stopped the sale of accessories. If you need a recomendation on a component supplier who ships to Ireland please contact our sales team. I do however not think any large component suppliers in Germany for example could ship to Ireland as we did but companies like CONRAD.COM for example are very good and they specialist in component sales. We ceased selling components and accessories on the 30th of September 2024 after notice of 120 days. This notice was on the product , home and checkout pages on our websites. Our decision related to the selling of components and accessories being a temporary service to help customers impacted by Brexit Custom Controls in January 2021. We did received 20 times the normal amount of orders in the final days of September which did create issue. As the service was ending on the last day of September any orders not processed or available were cancelled and refunded and an email sent to the customer or when possible a phone call was made..
though it took a while for my delivery to arrive once the order was updated it was delivered within 2 days and i received a free upgrade to an 8gb 3050 rather than the 4gb one i ordered.

Our website was launched in 2020 and we are on a 2 year cycle when it comes to launching new websites. Our new website which will offer 3 times the power and capacity will launch in September 2022.
Eircode changed our Eircode to R93 K22K in February 2022 and this has been updated on our website.
We are also launching AUTOADDRESS for EIRCODE on our new website which is launching next month so a customer merely types in their Eircode and the address autocompletes.

I was happy with my dealings with CustomPC.ie. Customer service responded with relevant information and dealt with tickets rapidly after the initial quite long delay.
Only criticism I would have is that the delivery of my CPU cooler took more than two weeks and was the last component to arrive.
Their reply to this comment contained information that they did not communicate to me at the time, and which would have made me write a more favourable comment. I think to make things perfect, all they need to do is increase the size of the service team, to shorten the response times.

Nick , thank you for your review. Unfortunately the delay with your BeQuiet cooler was related to the initial model supplied not have the AM5 or 1700 bracket and was clearly older stock. When we realised this we asked for the newer version to be supplied and this did add almost 5 business days to the order and for that we apologise. It is our policy to ensure the description matches the supplied product and as this model stated the newer brackets were included we delayed the order until the correct version arrived. This is not a low cost cooler and is a BeQuiet Pro 5 so we needed to ensure you got the exact model you ordered. We do carry this model in stock for our own builds however none of our own stock included the updated brackets and we had not offered the cooler as an option on the AM5 or Intel 1700 however clearly BeQuiet updated the cooler to be compatible with AM5 and Intel 1700. Please accept our apologies for the delay which was created.
Should you receive your CUSTOM PC or CUSTOM LAPTOP and you want to make any change ( excludes case ) such as extra memory , hdds , ssds , etc we will collect your PC and perform the upgrade for the cost of the extra components only. If there are components which need to be returned to complete the upgrade then we will credit you the amount charged for the component when purchased against the upgrade component. There will be no collection , return or labour charge within 30 days of you having received your new custom pc. You must inform us in writing by email before the end of the 30 days period quoting your order number and the upgrade you require. AIO Liquid Coolers and PC Cases are excluded from the 30 DAY UPGRADE WARRANTY.
Should you want to upgrade your CUSTOM PC within 90 Days of receipt we can collect your PC ( and return ) for a fee of €49.99. You can upgrade memory and other components without paying a labour charge for the installation of the upgrade components and we will allow a trade in of any returned components related to the upgrade at up to 75% of their original value. The only exception to the upgrade warranty is AIO Liquid Coolers and PC Cases.
Our Custom PCs come with a 2 year collect & return warranty which means should there be any hardware failure within 2 years from the date of purchase we will collect the PC , repair and return. Software is excluded from the warranty as is customer induced damage or damage from misuse which includes for example over-clocking or damage caused from opening the PC , etc.
As on option on our Custom PCs and LAPTOPS a 3 year collect & return warranty can be added for an additional cost which means should there be any hardware failure within 2 years from the date of purchase we will collect the PC , repair and return, and in year 3 of your warranty we will include Collection & Return as well as a Zero Labour Fee Promise , Hardware may not be covered in year 3 however we will always verify this with the manufacturer. Software is excluded from the warranty, as is customer induced damage or damage from misuse which includes for example over-clocking or damage caused from opening the PC , etc.. Please note that certain components are excluded by their respective manufacturers from the 3rd year of the of the warranty however if this is the case then we will supply the component for cost price and fit under warranty which means no labour costs.
Components and Accessories are covered by their respective manufacturers warranty and you should always contact the manufacturers support first. We are however , always here to help, and if you need help or advice please contact our support. Most Manufacturers have returns procedures in place and do not allow us to accept their returns. We cannot accept most components or accessories for return after 30 days from date of purchase however we will always endeavour to assist our customers and we will contact the manufacturer on our customers behalf. If you need to know which manufacturers offer direct support and which do not then please contact our support staff and we will get the information for you. We can also offer advise when warranty is refused by the manufacturer or if you need advice on whether an item is covered by warranty. Customer induced damage for example bent pins on cpus or motherboards or thermal paste on cpu sockets is not covered by warranty nor is physical or accidental damage. When we are dealing with a manufacturer or their agent in relation to a customers component return we are acting on behalf our customer and in the interest of our customer and we will not provide our own technical reports or findings unless requested to do so by our customer. Our customers are welcome to return components to us at anytime during the warranty period however the manufacturer may not accept the return from ourselves which is why we may ask the customer to contact the manufacturer to complete the return and to speak to the support at the manufacturer. In most cases the manufacturers support and returns offer a quicker service than returning to ourselves first however we can always accept the return and provide a technical report to give our customer our opinion as to whether the manufacturer will accept a return under warranty. If a component comes with Extended or Lifetime Warranty from the Manufacturer is it expected by them that you the customer will register your purchase with them to avail of the extended of lifetime warranty so we recommend you do this as soon as you receive your order as not to forget. Manufactuers have the right to refuse warranty and unfortunately they have the last word on the warranty but we will always fight for our customers rights. We do ask customers to be honest and truthful as this will allow us the best opportunity to get the right solution from the manufacturer always. Manufacturers are always suspicious of components handled by home pc builders as they have been opened and handled outside of a professional envirnoment so this is one of the first things manufacturers look at when a component is returned with overclocking being the second item they look for. If a processor , memory or graphics card has been over clocked most if not all manufactures will be able to confirm this as there is a logic gateway which is opened once the component goes beyond a certain level and this does not close and cannot be closed so if open the manufacturer knows the component was overclocked ( this is a simple explanation to the logic gateway only ) so if a component has been overclocked it is best to admit this from the beginning as not providing this detail and it being found is likely to be met by the manufacturer voiding the warranty once they confirm the overclocking took place were as if the overclocking was known about they will on most occasions look past this and look for the reason why the component failed and if the failure was not related to the overclocking most manufacturers will have no issues with covering the warranty however there are expections to this with Intel and AMD who always void warranty were overclocking has taken place so if you overclock a processor you immedietly void your warranty and this is beyond our control. We will always provide information which is the best interest of our customers but it is important that we have the correct and truthful information as without this it is impossible for us to fight for our customer against a manufacturer. We have good relations with almost all of the main manufacturers and our technicians speak with many of the technicians who deal with testing at the manufacturers so we have the means to get information which may be beyond that of a customer placing a return.
Our Delivery Partners DHL offer a premium delivery service to homes and businesses across Ireland with a 1-2 day service that covers the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Once and order ships we will send a tracking number so our customers can track their delivery.
DHL Premium Provide our delivery service to Spain , Portugal , Netherlands and Germany to home and business customers. The delivery time is 4-6 business days to each country and tracking is provided once the order ships.
Delivery Times are Estimates Only. DHL are one of Europes premier Delivery companies and offer a service which is first class. We use DHL as we know DHL will collect from ourselves and DHL will deliver to our customer in each country with no third parties involved which eliminates potential lost orders and damaged orders.

Next Day Custom Desktop PCs and Laptops are Prebuilt and Shipped from stock and should ship within 24 hours of the order being placed. You will receive an order confirmation email with tracking information when your order ships. If you need an order update please log into your account or read your order confirmation email. We endeavour to ship component orders quickly but please understand that the bulk of our stock is stored at our logistics facility in Germany so when an order is placed the goods are then shipped to Ireland at the end of each evening which can take 1-5 days depending on the items being ordered. Monitors and large items can only be shipped by Roadfreight to Ireland which means monitors will always take no less than 5 days to arrive with us here in Ireland. We do not offer next day delivery on components to customers in Ireland and delivery on components is estimated at 3-7 business days on average and for larger items 6-9 business days. We do not delay and we will always do our best to ship orders as quickly as possible but sometimes living on an island like Ireland can create unforeseen delays for example bed weather can at times add to the delivery times and sometimes the bank holidays in Ireland differ to those in Germany and Europe which can also add to the delivery times. If we are aware of a delay we do try to reach out to the customer to explain the delay and why it has happened and if possible offer an alternative option if the delay is related to stock availability. If the delay is related however to weather or holidays there is very little we can do expect wait. We try to avoid shipping direct from our German warehouse to customers in Ireland however on occasions with delayed orders we can do this to limit the delay.
Component Orders to Spain , Portugal and Germany are shipped direct from our logistics location in Germany to homes and businesses in each country by Roadfreight with delivery times varying for each country. Spain and Portugal the delivery time is 4-6 business days with the delivery time in Germany being 2-3 business days.
We do not store payment information within our business or on our servers and we do not have access to for example the credit card numbers which ensures the safety of our customers financial information. We are PCI Compliant and no card or payment information is stored physically or online. We take the security of our customers payment details seriously and we have procedures in place to ensure we offer protection above what is reuquired by Eu legislation.
